Unprofessional. Took my $150 application fees and didn’t help me find a place to live. Seems like they are there for the owners and not the tenants. They could have helped me with what to say on the application if there was a problem. I had a pot charge that was expunged from when I was 20: maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned it. I would rather be honest.
The kid who showed us a property parked in front of a unit: Making me haul a 30 pound baby and my aunt walk. He didn’t know if the washer and dryer was still there. He didn’t know where the backyard began at the other unit.
Someone lied and told the owner I was pregnant: making me seem like a less desirable tenant. We were told twice the place was rented. Lies both times. We were turned down because of our dogs. The place was available to rent with dogs.
They won’t call back. Won’t give a reason why we weren’t accepted ( I get it discrimination ). But yah, they aren’t there for the tenant. You have to find your own place. And wonder if you got it. You don’t. While they make easy money!!!
