Visited Oregon City Records this afternoon for the first time, on a total whim. Let me just say it was a one of a kind experience that one rarely is allowed in this day and age. The owner was friendly, attentive and helpful in finding what I was looking for. Tori, the owner, is also a uniquely genuine person, and he is what made the difference between an ordinary experience and one that is extraordinary. In a time when spontaneous human interaction is so hard to come by, it was a refreshing taste of great service. If you can visit, you will not be sorry. I myself, amongst other things, scored an excellent vinyl consisting entirely of humpback whale songs.
