I went in to make a return today and in short Scott and Ethan have INTENSE attitudes. As a young woman, going into an automotive store is intimidating as it is but to have two older gentleman have such aggressive an intense attitudes towards me was extremely unnecessary and made the whole situation very frustrating. I bought a new GAS CAP from two kind and prudently helpful men named Collin and Jordan and they were nice enough to go the extra mile and clear the codes on my car and say if it wasn’t the reason my check engine light came back on then I could come back within the return time and get a refund. First I go in explaining to two older gentleman named Ethan and Scott that I had just bought this gas cap and was told I could get a refund if it wasn’t the problem with my car, Ethan and Scott asked if I had my receipt I told them I did not and Ethan immediately interrupted me and refused any help at all. Although Scott was inclined enough to ask if I used my phone # when I bought the item they both made me feel like I was the biggest inconvenience to them in an otherwise empty store. (I did use my phone # when I bought it so they huffed and brought it up on the computer and told me to hand them the box) I explained to them multiple times that the new one I bought was currently still on my car and I wanted to swing in and see if a refund was still possible before I put the old one back on and brought the new one back in bc again when I bought it I was told if it wasn’t the problem I could return it in a timely manner. I don’t know if they didn’t hear me right or what but after they had opened the box Ethan especially had a condescending tone with me, he mansplaned to me that “if you want your money we need the one we sold you” I said “right, as I just said it is still on my car.” With such condescending tones I felt defensive and defeated and caught myself thinking just leave and go somewhere else. I go to grab the new gas cap I bought and I parked right outside the doors so they could see me take the new gas cap off my car and put the old one back on, Scott came busting through the door and yelled at me that I couldn’t return it if it was used, mind you it had only been on there ONE day, I said okay not a big deal. I completely understand companies having certain policies and if I had just been misinformed then that was that but I was not causing a fuss about it at all but the arrogance and condescending attitude these two had with me was uncalled for and unappreciated. Scott ushered me inside and said he’d give me a refund but I told him it’s not necessary if it was a problem or caused them more trouble then necessary but they gave me the refund anyway giving me dirty looks and no instruction on when the money would come back to me, bc I know it’s not always instant but I was just inclined to think they gave me the refund as a way to shut me up and get me out of the facility. All in all I got my refund but if I had known I was going to be made out as an idiot and an inconvenience I wouldn’t have even bothered going in. I hope this review reaches the right audience who can take appropriate action but I will not be doing business with anyone at this location but Jordan and Collin.

Collin and Jordan, especially Collin were so helpful. My alternator went out in the O'Reilly parking lot and they took out the battery to charge it so I could drive it to my mechanic. They we're helpful and let me hang out for a couple hours in the store and chatted when they had time. Answered my questions, etc.
