My 10 month old completely went solid aversion one day, she wouldn't eat anything, not even her favorite berries. She suddenly started protesting to sit on the high chair too. We tried and tried and I was like 'I cannot do this'. Everyone told me this is just a phase, she will outgrow it, may be she is teething. One month, 2 months, 3 months no progress at all. I started bottle feeding her like 16 times in a day. I started my full time job, couldn't put her in daycare due to these issues. The babysitter gave up.
Contacted few feeding therapy clinics, they had wait time of 6+ months. Finally got hold of Kelli and thank goodness I did!
I first spoke to Kelli on the phone and her tone was so warm that I started crying on the phone itself telling her what I am dealing with. We hadn't even met Kelli and she assured me that she will help out and can reverse this for my daughter. Initially, my husband was skeptical on how this can work, but I needed professional help.
Kelli was extremely kind, she taught me several different techniques including brushing method and within 3 days of treatment my little one sat on the high chair without protesting! Both me and my husband cried. Then within 5 days of treatment, she started eating a little bit and some fruits and within 2.5 weeks, she started taking an interest in almost all types of food. My <1% baby (before we met Kelli) is now >30%centile baby in less than 6 months!
It was total 180 degree turn from where we first started. We continued therapy sessions with Kelli for a few months as there was so much I was learning from her and got sessions for other issues too that my daughter had.
I highly and most definitely recommend Kelli for anyone requiring OT services. I feel so lucky to have found her. She is reliable, approachable and above all very caring as if it's her own child. She even used to reach out to check when my little one had other medical issues. I will sincerely forever be grateful to Kelli.
