Our family of 4 vegetarians have eaten at least 30 meals here and we have been impressed with nearly every dish. Pierogis, beet reuben, salad nicoise, falafel wrap, breakfast burrito, pancakes, shakshuka, and more.
There's not a huge selection of beer offerings, but we've almost always found something we liked. The servers do an excellent job of describing the options. Mostly we prefer brown/dark brews (Night Mayor!!!), which apparently aren't offered during the summer months, but we like a couple of their lighter beers.
The menu is all-vegetarian, with vegan options, and it is AWESOME to have the freedom to order anything we see on offer.
The outdoor seating is GREAT. I think I counted 10 outdoor tables (some for 2 people, some for 4). They have an open area next to the building, and also a roofed, hard-sided on 3 sides, structure in the street. I think it'll be possible to eat outdoors throughout the year if outdoor dining is your preference. (It's ours.) We prefer eating outside when the weather is decent, but we've also eaten indoors upstairs, and it feels very spacious and comfortable.
I'll mention the only disappointment for me on the menu, which is totally based on my own taste buds so YMMV.... The french toast bread had no discernable egg-soak (more like an egg "mist"), even though the menu says "soaked in eggs, cream, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla", which sounds wonderful. I wish that is what was served. Others love it as is, I realize. Anyway, I've really enjoyed everything else I've ordered and Otherlands remains my favorite restaurant in Bellingham!
