We tried to come here on Friday evening around 5pm. There were a few open tables. When you walk in, the sign says to wait to be seated. We waited patiently for 10 minutes. Finally, another patron pointed out to the server that we were waiting, and he got us a table. He accidentally only brought one menu, so he said he’d be right back with another one, and then he just… disappeared. I guess he went back to waiting on other people. We slowly got up and walked out, and he didn’t even seem to notice.
We ended up going to the pizza place next door. The wine and beer selection there was fantastic, and the view was even better than the wine tasting room! Plus, the service was excellent.
Quick note: we are extremely understanding that the service industry is really struggling right now. That said, all it takes for me to be extra patient is for a server to say, “hi, I’ll be right there!”
Two stars because it seemed like it would be a fun/cozy spot to hang out.
