Worth the stop if you like bonsai. Should have brought the umbrellas as the sun was intense. These are the oldest tree bonsai I have seen. One was from c. 900. Staff and volunteer was very knowledgeable. Very educational.

magical place probably. had really nice bonzais displayed and i saw some auctioned off when i went and all were beautiful. and the rhodie gardens/park were amazing. there is even a greenhouse with a river and some pretty exotic looking plants as well

It was a small garden back behind Weyerhauser. I had no idea it was there. I learned that almost any tree can be trained to be a bonsai tree. I love trees so it was very cool. There is no actual fee to enter, but they ask for $12 per person for donation in maintaining the park.
