We are in the beginning stages of renovating our home, and our landscaper noticed possible termites, so I contacted three different termite companies, all offering free inspections. However, when Pacific Coast Termites came, they tried to charge us $350 because we stated we were going to refinance the home and wanted to get this taken care of beforehand.
I don't understand why this statement would cause them to make a free inspection to go up to $350 when the other two companies didn't charge for the same thing. So I told him we did not want to do the inspection if they were going to charge. The inspector got mad, started cursing, then slammed the door on the way out. This company is extremely unprofessional, and we will never use their services.
We decided to go with The No-Nonsense Termite Company instead. They were very professional, gave us very helpful information and lived up to their name, unlike Pacific Coast Termites.
We have used Pacific Coast Termite for many years. They always do great work. When one of their service reps indicated they would not come out to do a free inspection under warranty, the owner called back and insured me they would and would take of any findings at no cost. They are honest, hard working and do a great job. You don't need to look any further for a good Termite company.
