Hiked it in July and gorgeous trail!! It’s a bit confusing as to where you’re supposed to go on the ski slopes. It’s also downhill on the way there and uphill going back. Lake itself is muddy.

Beautiful trail with wildflowers. The lake is little muddy. Mosquito could be there during this season. Views are amazing.
