Obscene pricing. 3 moles frozen off in a quick 30-40 min visit. Billed $800, they billed what appears to be ~$430 above their contracted rates with insurance company so came at me for $270. Friendly enough staff when I expressed concerns with the pricing and questionable business practice. The billing manager made an honest effort to suggest I just didn't understand how to read the bill. Explained I work in the industry and they changed the topic to "you got 30-40 minutes with the Doctor that is pretty good." I then told them I was never seen by a Doctor, they were a PA. They suggested that my insurance may have paid a different price for a PA, of which I have no way of easily checking. But my god business is good if a PA can bill at effectively at $1200 to $1600 an hour. Oh, and separately billed by another company $200 for pathology on the benign mole. Zero f's given. Show them the money.
