My dad died after suffering a massive stroke that required him to be airlifted from his home in Dayton, WA to Providence Sacred Heart in Spokane. After spending a week with my dad in the hospital before he passed away, I had to return to my life in Renton after my dad died. Elizabeth was amazing and took care of all of the details for me over email and telephone conversations. She helped me plan my dad's cremation and then turn his ashes into stones so all of the family members can have a piece of my dad. She kept me informed throughout the entire process. I never had to worry about anything because Elizabeth had it covered. She understood how difficult it was to be going through the process of burying my dad and was very sympathetic and understanding.
Pacific NW Cremation's service are extremely affordable and trend setting. When I was working with the funeral home on the west side for my dad's service, they had never heard of the ability to turn the ashes into stones.
Planning a funeral is not a fun process, but I would highly recommend Pacific NW Cremation & Funeral and Elizabeth to help with that process.
1) The funeral director, Jennie, was great to work with. 2) The availability of an online obituary posting was nice, though it took longer to get it up and running than we'd hoped. 3) I wish the team that came to pick up the body had been a bit more deferential and concerned; this is just routine to them--but they need to remember it's not routine to us; we just lost someone we love. 4)The pricing was reasonable.
