Hobby shop is okay, if you are into Traxxas cars they have quite a bit of components. If into 🚂 sets then this place has what you need to build a layout. And if you enjoy plastic or bosil wood planes they have a few selection for you. Now for a pilot like myself who enjoys FPV they don't have anything that's up to date. Think the last time I visited 5 years ago they have the same exact set of fatshark goggles and same FPV tiny whoop camera in the exact same spot....
But they have kite's and foam planes for kids plus lots of toys! Now on the top of price... ridiculously high prices on everything EVERYTHING is priced high. Personally this shop just isn't for me I guess.

Great shop, wish it were in my hometown. We stopped in on a whim as we were walking along the waterfront on vacation. They have a huge selection and it's brimming with interesting things that I haven't seen elsewhere. Both gentlemen working were friendly and knowledgeable. Wish they were closer, but better for my wallet that they aren't.

Pacific Rim Hobby is one of the best hobby shops I've ever had the pleasure of discovering. They have a wide selection of tools, kits, paint, and accessories, good prices, and an incredible store of friendly knowledge in their heads. Want to know about RC, trains, paint, 3d printing, dioramas, wood burning, rockets, or model making? Just ask - they know about, have, or can get whatever you need for your project. The best part is you can wander around the store for an hour or so and still not see everything. I always want to take about 80% of the place home with me. It's a pity stores like Pacific Rim Hobby are such a rarity but finding one makes you feel like you've stumbled across a vein of gold. If I lived closer they'd get so tired of seeing me - and I'd be broke (but soooo happy.). Here's to ten more years, at least of Pacific Rim Hobby!
