The PA and assistant were nice and listened, and prescribed me a bunch of topical medications. What I found disturbing is that they prescribed me a medication that cost $650 so required prior authorization from my health insurance. However they refused to complete the prior auth and instead said I could buy it from them directly for $80. Apparently their policy is not to complete prior auths forcing you to buy it from them. Does not instill trust and just makes me think they’ll do whatever to make more money at the expense of the patient.
