I played paintball at Paintball Jungle dozens of times in the late 90s, even joining their home "team" -- the Hornets. At the time, it seemed to be a family-friendly place, and I have great memories playing with friends and family. So when a teenage family member asked to paintball with me, I was excited to return to the field. Unfortunately, Paintball Jungle is no longer a place for young teenagers, if it ever was. I was very disappointed with my experience. First, players were smoking weed the entire day, some carelessly only feet away from us. Second, both players AND refs were cursing loudly throughout the day, even hurling profane insults at each other in jest. Third, and most egregious: one of the refs (paid staff) had a mask band with explicit pornographic pictures on it. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked that the owners would allow ANYONE to do that, let alone their staff. This field is for adults only, and adults of a certain kind. It is not a place for young, new paintballers. I will not return.

The set up and fields were really fun. I had a great time with my friends, and met some really cool people. I would have given 4/5 stars but the hospitality of the place just left a sour taste in my mouth. They were very passive aggressive, and rude when we were asking questions. We did let them know it was our first time, but they just seemed annoyed.

Really fun, I wish my group could have gone into the back of the bigger area to just play each other it was a slow day and the large mixed group was only using a fraction of the entire space and it didn't make sense why we couldn't be there if the refs were ensuring that that group was far enough away from us. A little expensive for what it is in my opinion but I also don't paint ball regularly so it might be a fair price?
