FRAUDULENT BILLING! They attempted to bill us $200 for a 30 minute MD visit that didn't occur and $296 for an abdominal ultrasound that NEVER occurred either. They also made sure to write on the invoice "cash patient" without ever discussing this with us. After bringing this to their attention, an employee by the name of Esther, told us not to pay for the ultrasound but we needed to pay for the office visit. The bill was supposedly "cleared" after speaking with the MD. We are awaiting a proper written invoice stating that the bill is void.
RUDE STAFF! When asking about the bill, Esther curtly replied "I already spoke with your father and mother. Don't you talk to them?! I'm very busy! Do I have to explain it to you?!" I asked her to clarify the situation so that both parties were on the same page. She told me it was our fault for not knowing the medicare regulations better and raised her voice at me. She has poor customer service skills and thinks it is alright to yell at her patients and their family members for inquiring about a billing statement the office was originally at fault for.
This place has poor professionalism and customer service and improper, shady billing practices. The department of health, Medicare, and Medical Board of California need to be aware.
Last week, I visited Dr.Pak's office. And when I visited, I was super impressed by the kind & welcoming doctor as well as the staff members. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was thankful that the staff tried their best to let the doctor see me as soon as possible. I'm so thankful to have chosen Dr. Pak as my PCP (-:
