Overall really disappointed in the prenatal ultrasound I received here. I left my appointment today with only 3 photos of the baby and was not able to see the Ultrasound on the screen for the duration of the appointment, just a few glimpses here and there. I was super surprised and disappointed that I did not get to watch the entire scan and had been able to twice before at Mount Baker Imaging. The person administering the ultrasound told me baby was very active during the whole scan but I sadly didn’t get to see this activity or take a video of it on my phone. My husband and I both took time off from work to be at the appointment and he didn’t really see anything so it was kind of a waste for him to be there. The person administering the ultrasound told me there are 3D imaging places in Bellingham where I can go to try and get a profile view of the baby, which was nice of them to tell me.
I likely won’t need anymore prenatal ultrasounds but as soon as I got home from this appointment I scheduled an appointment at peek-a-bump to try and have an ultrasound experience that would be enjoyable instead of just clinical and medical.
If you need a medical ultrasound done I recommend Mount Baker Imaging. They had a screen where I could watch the entire ultrasound, explained details about baby as we went, allowed me to take videos of baby kicking their feet, and provided me with 10-20 high quality pictures of baby to take home and share. My ultrasounds at Mount Baker Imaging were prescribed by my doctor but they were also fun.
