We had such a lovely experience wine tasting here! The estate is so soooo beautiful and so quiet. Deborah was very informative and very sweet. She showed us around, we got to see the barrel room from a bird’s eye view upstairs. The wine tasted great we got a few bottles to take home with us. Most Importantly there was a super cute dog, Poppy, which completed everything a wine estate/ tasting room should have. We highly recommend this place and we are definitely looking forward to coming back soon!!
Beautiful property and great pinot, but I was incredibly disappointed with the service. The older woman working there had a very negative attitude and treated our group as a burden for not having a reservation. It felt very elitist, and not something we would have expected from the region. While there, we watched multiple groups enter the winery and leave, complaining about the poor attitude of same person. Requiring a reservation is fine; treating customers so poorly is not.
I hope the winery takes this as an opportunity to refocus their efforts on creating a welcoming environment for visitors. Until then, I’m sad to say I won’t be stopping at this winery when I’m tasting along Santa Rosa Road in the future.
