TLDR; coffee is awful, food is ok.
We came in with high expectations, but somehow were let down by the food and drinks here. The cappuccinos were incredibly bitter and acidic- no amount of sugar could fix it. The avocado toast was alright (the avocado tasted a bit old) and the egg bacon provolone breakfast sandwich wasn’t any better.
I can’t for the life of me figure out how a place with such good ratings turned out to be a let down.
On the other hand, it is a really nice cafe atmosphere-wise.
Nestled in the serene countryside of Bainbridge Island, Pegasus Coffee is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. As the island's first coffee establishment, it exudes a quaint charm that instantly captivates visitors.
Stepping into Pegasus, I was greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the inviting scent of buttery croissants. The rustic decor and warm ambiance create a cozy retreat from the outside world, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely morning or afternoon.
The coffee itself is exceptional—rich, flavorful, and expertly crafted. Whether you prefer a robust espresso or a creamy latte.
And let's not forget about the croissants—they are simply divine. Light, flaky, and generously buttery, they pair perfectly with a steaming cup of coffee for the ultimate indulgence.
