Never take anything you value to this company to have cleaned. Period. They send your clothing to a central plant to clean so nothing special or French about that. I trusted them with my Jonathan Simkhai cotton lace appliqué dress that I was "going" to wear as my wedding dress, and I specifically asked if they were familiar with this type of dress or material and the manager told me "yes, we do lots of bridal and couture" so I was satisfied and gave it to her tags on never been worn. What I got back was a dress that was soft and rumpled instead of its original crisp Aline shape with a layered tea length skirt and semi rigid bodice, It now looked like a bohemian sundress. The underlying liner stuck out about a inch beyond the lace overlay and was wrinkled and bunched under the bust and armholes, basically the white cotton appliqué had shrunk and the synthetic liner had not. I could no longer fit my shoulders and arms into the carefully tailored cap sleeves that I had numerous fittings to adjust. Not to mention I got my dress back 3 days before I was leaving for our destination wedding! I had to immediately go buy a dress off the rack have a rush tailor job buy all new undergarments and shoes because I wasn't able to wear the dress I spent an entire year choosing, tailoring and getting all the details for. My wedding was 9/8 they still have my dress because they want to try to reclean it, well that's a big help. Great customer service right? Thanks for nothing. I spoke with Laura and Ryan of their customer relations team and I asked that they refund my original cleaning fee of $130 and Ryan said since they followed they care instructions and that my dress couldn't be ironed I wouldn't be refunded. Which was completely contradictory to what the store manager assured me about the care of my dress. I have never been treated so terrible by a business. Avoid this business, support your neighborhood dry cleaners.
