Peoples Barber & Shop

We both love getting our cuts here with Ben. Such a welcoming positive guy and the drink offering when you arrive is the cherry on top after a long day at work!!!

Went in with an appointment with Val S. and they were amazing! They were attentive and gentle and so careful! They have such good energy and I trusted them as soon as I sat down and felt so at ease. Val took such good care of me and I felt truly heard and seen. They are so talented and I would recommend everyone to work with Val! They are amazing, can't say enough about them! I hope they open their own shop one day because their energy was immaculate!

August 16th I decided I was going to have my haircut done instead of shaving bald. I live a few blocks away from Peoples Barber & Shop. I had gotten a haircut a couple years before paid $50 while I wait was given a beverage and after my cut a warm towel was used on me to wipe away lose hair. 🙃 Back to August 16th I go in all I want is my sides done asking for a fade tapperd to a 2. I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointment offered no beverage saw my stylist and explained what I want they were confused so I explained best I could so they understand. Long story short I spend less then 4 minutes in the chair then shown yeah that's basically what I asked for but not great I go to pay bill and they charge me $70. Jump forward to today I go get another haircut because I want to look good I got to The Shop out in Berkeley and explained the same thing and they took great care of me. I pay this bill and they charge me $15. So you can see I will show one picture of me after the Peoples Barber and one of the Shop. The one with glasses on is $70 the no grasses is $15. I will never return to this place again. They even replied that they are not a barbershop so they verified their fakeness,
