I brought a pair of pants here that belonged to an expensive, heavy-weight 1930s suit to have the waist and hips taken in. They were brought back to me with the legs slimmed all the way down to the cuff, and the excess fabric trimmed down, meaning the pant legs can never be restored to their original width. I specifically requested that the width of the legs be left alone, so I'm very displeased.
I only leave 2 stars because of how kind and concise the man I interacted with was (not the tailor himself, whom I never met) and because the work I originally went their for was technically done as I requested.
The extent to which the legs have been slimmed has made them borderline unwearable for me, however, since they are now so disproportionate to the jacket. This suit was not only expensive, but one of a kind considering it's age, condition, and quality. I'm now left with pants I can't wear and a considerable charge for work I didn't want done.
The work I did pay for was done decently, but beware if there's things you don't want done to your garments, even if you're crystal clear.
