The room was clean with window and quiet facing courtyard. Low budget furniture but worth the money since i was only sleeping in the room. Flat screen tv with a lot of channels but the best of all was the location! Clean neighborhood right beside Castro area and walking distance to the center. surronded by bars, restaurangs and supermarket.

Location is great; the trolley stop is right in front and it seems like a safe area. The room was well kept. Not thrilled that there's no sink in the shared bathroom; you have to walk back to your room with gross hands to wash them in the sink in your room. Thought that was a bit weird, but you get what you pay for!

As one of the other reviewers said, if you're on a budget, it'll do. Barely. Seeing the metal gate when you first enter doesn't give a good feeling, but knowing there are a couple of popular bars on the block, it's probably a good thing.||||For less than $100/night, including tax, you're getting what you pay for. Bathrooms are shared. They're clean, but old. There's one light in the room, a fluorescent one in the ceiling. No bedside lamp, no clock radio, no coffee maker. Fresh towels are supplied each day, along with soap. Bring your own shampoo. There's a sink in the room so you can primp in private.||||The room had Direct TV, which I actually used as lamp, avoiding the ceiling fluorescent.||||There was only one wall outlet in the room. Luckily it had a power strip attached. Without that, you'd have to unplug the TV to charge your phone.||||The location was good for transportation. Half a block to Muni Metro, the local underground transit. Also on the corner are various streetcars and an easy spot to catch a cab.
