I would love to give a higher rating however I've been there twice and both times were not a great experience. This most recent time I was one of only three people in the store. I was going to get a dog brush for my new puppy and thought I would give them a second chance from the first time I went there. Well, aside from absolutely no acknowledgement that I was there they also didn't have a single dog brush... in a pet store? That was both surprising and little annoying. i can't speak to whether the customer service was good or bad, I was completely ignored... well maybe that is an answer after all. I am all about supporting local business and the smaller the business the better but I do expect a certain level of customer care. It's a tough market in all businesses across the board so if a small local business wants to grow, gonna have do the basics and that starts with outstanding customer service. I doubt I will go back, it seems pointless when they don't have even the most basic of things. This is all my opinion and if you have had an awesome experience here, that's great and I'm happy for you.
Thank you for your reply. It was the Terrace Heights store, I am aware of the businesses that I review. The store isn't very large so I cannot imagine that I somehow missed the "very large selection of grooming supplies". I walked the store twice thinking I must have missed it but alas, I could not locate it. I am glad that you defend your employees and maybe they were just busy, I don't know but that's twice that it has happened to me, that's all I know. A review is tell the world what a person thinks and what experience they had at a specific place, that's all I did. So your comment, "If I may say, you seem to have spent a lot of time telling us what we did wrong", was not something that helps your case. I can only draw on what I saw and experienced, I tried to be kind and truthful. I hope your business thrives
I love this store. It has much better prices then the big box stores & offer a great selection of treats. BUT.........their high turn over in groomers is really frustrating and they offer no assistance to find a replacement. I understand that their groomers are independent contractors but they are still associated with PP while they are working there so there is a certain expectation of assistance when a groomer leaves.
I contacted them to question what I could do or frankly where my groomer went and all I got was "You should find another groomer". No apology, no resources, not even a sorry for the inconveniences. Really dissatisfied with it all.
