The employees at this lication are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I felt like I was in a great pet store. However, an employee at the Truckee location started yelling at me because, he said, I "wasn't listening" to him. Believe it or not, I can listen without staring into his eyes. He then threatened to take me outside(I'm not kidding) in front of many customers. When I called the owner to let him know, twice, he blew me off. I have options. Including spending less and having it delivered to our door. I tried to help because I have always adored the staff. I guess the customer service philosophy has changed. It's really too bad... guess they're opening the door for another pet food store to move in. I can't wait!! 👍

Excellent selection of pet products here. Place is ran by animal lovers and it shows. They regularly sample treats to test them out, and always have recommendations. I learned a lot from staff when I got my puppy two years ago, and appreciate the thoughtfulness and knowledge of the staff on everything they sell. Also, I don’t know if he’s the manager, but the fabulous man that always has lovely nails is the best. I showed up 2 minutes after closing to get dog food, and even though they had already closed the registers, he let me buy a bag to feed my lil guy. So sweet! Also, don’t miss the display case of locally baked dog treats, from adorable cookies to actual doggie birthday cakes, when you are in the mood to spoil your own fur baby.
