Carl Peterson captured one of the most important days of our lives, our wedding. After the many months that went into planning everything, and making sure every little detail would be perfect, we could not have asked for a more skilled, professional, or reassuring photographer. It was a bittersweet moment at the end of the night when we realized; "wow, that's really it. Our wedding is over." Carl seamlessly captured the moments before and during the wedding that will last us a lifetime. When searching for a wedding photographer, I had one goal in mind. I wanted our day to be captured for the bright, sunshiny, and joyous day it would be (not just because it was 82 degrees during the end of July at Chambers Bay), and that is EXACTLY what we got. Just shy of a few weeks, our photos arrived enclosed in a beautiful website put together by him! There was even music!! I FINALLY had it...the key to our beautiful keepsake of memories to last a lifetime. I opened the site, and immediately started tearing up to the slideshow of our wedding! I think I viewed it for about two hours straight, happy crying the entire time, and then again when I showed my husband. We did not have the traditional church wedding that we were both raised to have, however Carl captured our relationship for what is is and has always been; real, passionate, a little awkward here and there, and oftentimes just outright hilarious. He communicated very well with us and our families (25 person family shot). I heard so many comments on how well he gave directions and just overall read the crowd to capture the crisp, clean, and breathtaking photos overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound. He was able to capture amazing photos during the bright daylight, and in some cases with the sun directly on us, and still really make it work. Carl Peterson really has an artistic eye and for the beautiful moments of a wedding that beg to be captured. I have never felt so beautiful in a photo before his. Thank you so much Carl Peterson for blessing us with your gift of capturing the most meaningful moments in life, the memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for easing our nerves before the ceremony and allowing us the intimacy of slowing down, which was a good reminder for the real reason for the celebration, our union. I cannot wait to show our future children the photos and to have them gawk as did I with our parents. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. -Maria & Brett

My husband and I didn’t have a great wedding photographer so for our 10th anniversary Carl went back to our venue with us to help us celebrate with pictures. They are stunning! Our only regret is that we didn’t have him capture our wedding!

By far the best experience I have ever had taking pictures. I was worried when the session started due to the weather but Peterson was super professional and knew just what to do. He made my fiancé and I feel so at ease with posing that the pictures turned out wonderfully. If I could give him a million stars I would. If I need photos taken in the future I know who I’m calling.
