Restaurant needs remanagement.
As stated earlier, you have to order up front and pay and tip accordingly. I didn't tip well because of the service structure. In return the waitress disappeared and Left my food at the window a while. I get it. No tip for tat. Watched elderly couples complain too. But let's dig deeper.
Service and cooks were intermittently disappearing and I heard both complain about each other while they thought no one was listening. It's bad enough us trucker peasants have to pay 31 dollars ( before tip) for a plate of cold fish ,broccoli and a cup of coffee ( a side of sausage) but then there is the kitchen.
Kitchen stove pictured is clearly gross. I worked in the business for a while in NYC. If the kitchen looks like that to the public Lord knows what's going on in the back. I emailed the Spokane regional health district advising them of the status of the kitchen. Last time I personally stop here.
1) Very slow Truck Smart points app. 2a) The restaurant used to be great with the salad bar and buffet. The new restaurant has a limited menu. 2b) The kitchen is out of items too often. (Better menu planning, please!) 3) The solo waitress was polite and extremely overworked all by herself. 4) At the fuel counter, I witnessed a dispute over shower points because of the cruddy point system. When a driver spends over $700 on fuel and has a receipt. the clerks shouldn't argue!
5) COME ON, PETRO, GET IT TOGETHER!
