I called for a dog grooming appointment. The grooming manager said I wasn’t allowed to make appointments there for my dog. Basically I was shutout. Why I asked? She said there was no reason on the computer as to why and the girl who imputed the information no longer works here. Long story short…after waiting 12 minutes on the phone for the store manager, he made an appointment for my dog.
Why I’m I complaining….well the grooming manager said I was yelling and she didn’t want to deal with me. I was not yelling. This is the new norm for those who don’t want to find out reasons for error or to deal with complaints. I’m so sick and tired of this prejudiced…don’t want to do their job type of people. They are the ones with the problem. Do your job and deal with it or get a job that doesn’t involve customers. Unbelievable!

i had the worst experience here on 9/13 at 8:30 pm from the manager Courtney, I tried to buy a pet mouse, he had been there for 3 weeks already in the tiny cage. When i attempted to buy him i was accused of trying to feed him to a snake. I was refused the purchase because i did not own a 40 gallon tank. I have a 10 gallon tank and stated i can buy him a bigger one on my next pay check. i told them i have all the equipment needed, the water bottle, food dish, multiple hides, bedding, food. I have everything i need. But i was still refused service by the manager courtney. Courtney continually refused my service even after i was brought to tears, i had felt a connection since i saw him three weeks ago, i thought that it was meant to be seeing he was still there but was refused, petsmart was my go to location for all of my animals, i have 4 cats, 2 frog, a leaped gecko, and plenty of fish. i have previously owned multiple hamsters who lived long happy lives. Country brought me to tears and deeply offended me. One of the main reason i wanted to purchase him was because i felt a connection and had the fear of him becoming a feeder mouse. We witnessed this mouse literally climbing his tank in desperate attempt to get out. I can tell you right now he would be extremely more happy in my house under my care then stressed out in a 5 gallon petsmart tank. Even when I stated how small of a tank he was in there they mentioned he is there temporarily but he has been there for literally 3 weeks. That doesn’t sound very temporary. Also the fact they are unwilling to sell this mouse to a loving family shows me that he will be there for a very long time. This experience completely ruined my idea of petsmart, i always believed they were a family oriented pet loving place. but clearly they are not willing to understand anything. i will no longer give my business to petsmart.
