We’ve been taking our dog to get groomed for 6 years at petsmart and the groomers are always nice and caring. However, something is wrong with how the department is managed. After 3 back to back to back cancelations without a lot of notice and then getting the schedules pushed back, I’m forced to find another groomer. It was left to a groomer to discuss this with me, and they are not empowered by management to make it right. Also reading more about how petsmart and their grooming training is done has motivated me to NEVER go back to the store, not even for supplies. I feel for the groomers and hope they have the confidence to find better conditions elsewhere. We stayed through loyalty of the 6 years going, but the loyalty we had are finally burned through multiple issues with scheduling. This is a leadership issue.
