One sign of you having a great wedding photographer is when numerous family and friends keep telling you how much they love the wedding photos for weeks and months after the wedding day. Jay provided us with hundreds of beautiful images that we will have forever.

From our first interaction with Jay, he was extremely helpful and responsive as he walked us through everything regarding wedding photography even before any contracts were signed. Picking wedding vendors can be extremely stressful and intimidating so Jay was great with explaining the entire process, what we should be looking for, how the big day goes, pros and cons of various things that we had never thought of, etc.

Jay always answered phone calls, texts & emails extremely timely and over the course of the year leading up our date he kept us informed when he left the country so we wouldn’t think he left us high and dry. Not like you need to talk to your vendors weekly, it was just a nice touch.

Day of: Jay and Caitlin did great, they captured all the elements of the wedding so beautifully from the getting ready details, venue, family & friends, ceremony, reception and the big party afterwards. The process of getting all the shots before, during, after with family and the bridal party went extremely smooth, we knew we were in great hands with Jay leading the show.

The DVD with our pictures showed up within 6 weeks just like Jay said.

Very happy clients, extremely happy wife.

Jay and his assistant/wife did an amazing job at our wedding by capturing all the special moments that we can now remember for the rest of our lives. His creativity and artistic ability in his work is exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We wanted the standard formal shots, but the fun casual ones too with the funky angles, pictures that showed the love and laughter on our special day, and the small details such as the shoes, rings, and vows. My wife looked at several photographers and as soon as she saw Jay's website, with his talent for the extraordinary, she knew he was the one for us. As busy as he is, we felt he had time to answer any of our questions and emails. He was prompt and put us at ease throughout the entire process. As soon as my wife met Jay, she knew that we made the right choice and would have exactly what we wanted. He made sure he had a list of all the pictures we wanted and got just that. We also booked the photo booth through him and could not have been more pleased. The guests loved it and we got the best guest book ever. We cannot say enough good things about Jay and would recommend him to anyone wanting to have the best, most memorable wedding pictures ever. We cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond our expectations and will cherish the memories he made possible for us.

Every once in awhile, you come across a professional who creates something absolutely beautiful while making it seem effortless. That's how Jay Winter does photography. My wife and I asked Jay to shoot our wedding this past August, and leading up to the day, we really just wanted a few picture to remember the day. We didn't want to spend hours shooting photos while our family and friends were waiting--we wanted to see the people we cared about! Jay was extremely professional, knowing exactly how to position us and our families to get the pictures he wanted. Looking back, I can't believe how little time it took him to get a lot of unique and amazing shots.

And not only was Jay fantastic in his time management, but we never felt ordered around or herded in any way. Jay is a fun, caring, funny, and very calm guy, and my wife and I had a blast as Jay guided us around our venue to shoot. Before we knew it, we were done with pictures, and off to enjoy the party.

That was all we'd asked Jay to shoot, but little did we know, he didn't stop there. Jay went above and beyond what we expected, catching all the beautiful intricacies of our wedding without us even knowing it. When Jay sent us the photos, we were amazed at how many moments we'd forgotten or missed, that he'd caught on camera. And since, we've been able to share those memories with many family and friends.

We were truly blessed to have Jay as our photographer. My wife and I have said multiple times since the wedding, how lucky we were to have had Jay shoot one of the most important days of our lives. And to any couples searching for a wedding photographer, we hope you're able to have Jay join capture your wedding day and enjoy the experience as much as we did.
