Our son, 11, has absolutely flourished with Yelena at her Placentia piano studio and always looks forward to his weekly lessons. She is easily one of the best piano teachers in Orange County. Rather than working through a piano lesson book, which I feel was holding Alex back at his previous music school, Yelena tailors his lessons around his musical interests which keeps him focused and excited to learn. She also teaches on Music theory. She is professional, patient, firm and knowledgeable. There is no doubt Yelena loves what she does and her passion for music truly shows. She also schedules plenty of events to showcase her students skills.

As a professional violinist, I deeply understand how important a PROFESSIONAL teacher means to her students. I am so glad that I found Ms. Yelena as my son’s piano teacher. She is so charming and always makes the piano lessons efficient. She teaches in very PROFESSIONAL ways which helps improve my son’s techniques and musical expressions. My son has been learning with Ms. Yelena for one year, but has won several prizes in the competitions. Recently, my son won the First Prize in the Royal International Piano Competition. He can’t have such achievements without Ms. Yelena’s support. Ms. Yelena definitely is one of the best piano teacher in Orange County!
