My dad is scheduled to move into Pine ridge this month. I have several questions about specific care, for his needs . He does not have ALZ, and litle dementia. He had a stroke but cognitively he is doing good. He needs to socialize, and talk with people. I dont see that happening in a facilty for ALZ, and demetia patients. that is my question. But not having any luck at contacting them. I filled out contact request online , But no response. Even tried calling the phone ,just rang for a couple of minutes , no answer, no voice message. read other reviews, seems get the same canned answer from management .
"Our team is extremely passionate about the care and service that we provide to all of our residents and visitors. We always welcome feedback as we try to perfect our residents' time with us and encourage our past visitors to reach out to us so that we can discuss these matters further."
Still no contact.Good he is outthey finally realized that this was the wrong place for him.and used me accused me of being the reason for recommending him move out. I called the office 3 times weeks before he moved in and did not get a response. Until I expressed my concerns, the received a rude call from the director. Stating he had dementia. But actually had a mild stroke, was very sociable and didn't belong with Alzheimers patients. They said it was my review weeks before then why would they admit him if that was the case. A I had an impact on their decision ...?, said they were "family oriented "Why would they admit him then. Or wait Almont 3 months to recommend he move. They after 3 months realized he did not belong there,, and used me as an excuse.. cop out... on their part.. Dont take your loved ones here, there are much better places. The place smelled of fecal matter
