10 STARS! We were just passing by town on the highway, with no intention of actually stopping, but had a craving for poke and decided to see what might be nearby. We’re from out of state and traveling full time in our camper van, so it’s always a gamble on unfamiliar places - especially for things like poke (we’re from Los Angeles, where there is a LOT of good poke to be found!).
This place more than impressed us! The food was fantastic, they had several different topping options that we haven’t seen elsewhere yet, the staff was super friendly, and the whole pirate theme and decor is super cute and fun.
Were so glad we took a chance on it and stopped by!
I have been waiting for this place open!!! To be honest, the restaurant looks pretty cool. I think there is still more to be done, but it looks good enough.
On the way to the post office, I just quickly dropped by for a snack to this new place. They had an item called Dori Poke on the menu and it caught my attention.
It is Doritos with some fish and veggies, and it looked very interesting. I just wanted to give it a try.
Actually, it was much better than I expected, and it was TASTY!!! The veggies, fish and chips got along so well, and I really loved the sauce called Pirate sauce with it.
I would definitely come back again for it, and I will come back for Grand Opening to try some poke bowls as well.
