Rolled into Place Pigalle minutes before the kitchen closed for their changeover from lunch to dinner, but I was graciously taken care of. My server, Daniel, was very attentive and professional. The bouillabaisse was outstanding and the view from my table couldn’t be beat.
Amidst the bustle of the pike place market, it was a delightful lunch setting. Music from the street performers and faint hollers from the fish market could be heard in the background, only adding to the atmosphere. Not familiar with the area, but felt at home at my white linen table for 1.
Another guest shared how she used to visit in the 70’s when the place was a total dive (not sure if it’s true, but gotta take her word for it) and all kinds of fun. Times change, but Place Pigalle has adjusted nicely. Look forward to returning the next time life brings me to Seattle.
