The area is beautiful, but poor direction and the sign boards indicating the area. Lake is serene and picturesque. Food is just great! But the service is little below average..! Timings are unreliable.

This place is a truck stop. Scratch that, you might actually get some sleep at a truck stop. Plasse’s has a giant generator running 24/7. It’s all you hear, day and night, You will get 0 sleep, wildlife is drowned out by the noise of the generator, and to top it off, the brightest, floodlight stays on all night illuminating their parking lot and anything within a half mile radius. Awful waste of time, effort, money. Never in my lifetime have I had such an awful experience camping. What’s the point of driving all the way up there in the middle of a forest to listen to a generator 24/7?!? Never again. Booked two nights, only stayed one. We started packing as soon as daylight hit. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Completely ruined our anniversary weekend.
