We have stayed at many vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. Jim and Rori have created a beautiful mother-in-law apartment attached to their farm house. The apartment is spacious, and most of all, BEAUTIFUL. Jim is a master woodworker, and has made absolutely mind-blowing furniture. Birdseye maple coffee table with walnut inlays and drawers. Tiger maple dining table. The kitchen had everything we could think of. We were there in January, and I loved making the place cozy with the Vermont Castings wood stove. Rori has been raising goats for 25 years, and taught me and my wife how to milk them. I had fresh goat milk in my coffee that morning. Jim showed us a few good hikes along their 300 acres of land. Their wonderful dog "Gram" tagged along as we explored the property. We had a wonderful time, and can't wait to come back! The house and property are amazing, but the warmth and kindness of the owners truly makes this head and shoulders above any other.
