I would not rent from or recommend this property management company for the following reasons:
-Security deposit refund: They are currently 40 days late on my security deposit refund. I emailed them twice, no responses. I received no calls or voicemails from them. I had to reach out to the property owner myself. The property owner states that they had difficulty getting answers themselves. I will give the whole process a few more days then legal actions will be considered.
-Communication: Very poor communication especially from Angie during the whole move-out process. She was very difficult to get a hold of to talk to by phone or in person. She showed up to perform a move-out inspection but did not give a courtesy call/text prior to arrival. The home was already cleaned and emptied so no one was home at that moment. She left and did not call me. She had her front desk receptionist called me instead. When I arrived, she did not perform a move-out inspection. She also did not have my original move-in inspection form and requested that I send them a copy if I had kept one. She took the keys, garage openers, and left. Very poor communication from her and this company on all levels.
-Rental verifications as requested from other property management companies: PMI requires you to put in your 30-day’s notice for them to even consider responding to a rental verification when requested from another property management company. I went even as far as paying a month’s rent ahead of time and giving my 30-day’s notice just for them to complete my rental verification. Of course, Angie was in charge of this process, and it was very difficult to reach her by phone or in person. She was either in a meeting, out of the office, or sick. She never once called me back. I had to continuously inquire about my rental verification and eventually one was sent—weeks later.
-Rental increases: A rent increase of 10% on the same month every year.
