The space itself was cool. A little bit of something for everyone. But apparently this space isn't too keen on out of towners travelling and spending their money there because the owner ignored us after we said we were from elsewhere but the other shoppers who answered they were locals got a "yay!" and further conversation. Okay? My money spends all the same and I'll spend it elsewhere next time I'm in town.

Huge antique store on two levels. Both the Asian and other ladies working there were very attentive and greeted me and were very helpful. The store made me feel like I was at my parents or grandparents homes many years ago. Everything from jewellery, kitchenware, clothing, furniture, tools, sporting goods. Awesome. I saw someone else’s post about the people working there not being terribly nice. I did not find that at all and I’m glad I came.

This store is my favorite. The gal who runs the store is on it because she has to be. Bad decisions made by people have forced her to be hyper aware of every movement that takes place in the shop. The people who have their goods in that store and that are paying for booth space rely on her to protect their antiques. She can't leave the store unattended and let suspicious activity go by the way side. If you don't believe me watch the video from an outside camera when I guy takes a meat clever to the door of the shop to break in and steals items from the store and destroyed part of the shop, glass. This woman is protecting those who are trying to sell their antiques! The stores antiques don't belong to her, she's the shop owner. So I say cut her a break, you have no idea what she has encountered and put up with and watched happened to the store. So if she comes to talk to you don't give her the cold shoulder be open, be kind, that goes a long ways. She does have signs posted about backpacks. Maybe go talk to her and if you're worried about your passport and tablet take them out of your bag....duh. If you just go have a conversation about keeping your bag with you she may surprise you by coming up with a solution that makes you and her comfortable. Again it's not her fault that people have no integrity and do bad things. How is she suppose to know the intentions of every patron. I think she is great and I would be willing to sell my things in her shop because I know she is a good guard, she works hard, she is upstanding, honest and will communicate. Take time to realize you're just going in to shop, you aren't being asked to be the new guard of the store. You're needing to respect what is posted and remember 1 bad apple spoils the bunch, you need to be mad at the people who made really bad choices making all of us shoppers look suspicious too.
