I've dry cleaned many things here (silk, wool, weird sequined stuff, etc.) and everything's been done well, quickly, and at a good price (cheaper than the app-based dry cleaning services). Both my husband and I have had pants altered here too and they're great! Highly recommend.

I'm not someone who typically takes the time to leave a review, but after going to Potrero Cleaner Alterations, I felt compelled to take a moment to appreciate and recognize the outstanding service I've been provided. It was my first visit and they were very friendly and willing to help with everything I brought in. I've had clothes laundered, dry cleaned and altered before I moved to SF, but I have never experienced such warm and helpful service. They truly took the time to assess my needs in fixing a broken zipper on my leather jacket. The pricing and results of the fix were amazing! Not to mention... I picked up the 6 items I had dry cleaned and they looked brand new! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful dry cleaning and alterations location so close to home. There's something about that feeling when you spend money somewhere and it feels good... that's Potrero Cleaner Alterations! I highly recommend them!

Terrible customer service - the father actually yells at you in Chinese when he disagrees in a very high volume. They don’t explain their rules upfront and when you get something altered and it doesn’t fit right and needs to be altered a bit more.. they just yell at you!! Their prices are off the charts anyways and for those prices this treatment and yelling in Chinese and treating the customer in such an offensive way is unacceptable. It was my first time here- dry cleaning is ok but if you need an alteration leave your self respect out the door.
I don’t know how businesses like these get away with this and survive!
I wish I made a video of the tailor jumping and screaming at me as if I had stolen money from him!
Believe the bad reviews.
