Positively the best community Pottery in Seattle. Their facilities are top notch and they always are looking for better ways to reach out to communities that would otherwise be left without this available to them. The staff is super helpful and supportive of all the students and each other so you can really tell that they care. Being a non profit org are one of the few organizations that is always expanding services. They keep a rotation of top notch artists and instructors and they pay those instructors exceptionally well. Sudi, Becca, and Althea, in particular, are the best instructors I have ever met.
The facility is one of the cleanest I’ve ever been in and there are always knowledgeable people to ask questions or have a pleasant conversation with. The equipment is extensive and the glazes are well maintained and interesting. Everyone there cares about the community and strives to make it an enjoyable and fruitful experience.
Personally, their expertise and support has allowed me to take the step to become a better and more educated artist and has resulted in acceptance into a graduate program in ceramics. I would not have been able to achieve this at any other studio. Spectacular!
