Interesting old power plant building with amazing copper brewing vats and fermenters. The food was excellent, and my husband really enjoyed the generously portioned Rueben sandwich, and I enjoyed the fish & chips. There are a few vegetarian options.

Beware of unannounced closures, especially on Thursdays. Otherwise, I really like this place. Good food, good beer, very good burgers, excellent BLT with aïoli (garlic mayonnaise), good fish tacos. Attentive service with good listening skills. Two wall televisions are captioned, so, for a place of this sort, conversation is relatively easy. Don't miss their seasonal rye beer when available. Much quieter than nearby options, despite the trains. Just be sure they are open if planning to go there (that's why 3 stars overall, despite 4 stars in each subcategory).

The power gages, insulators, signage, and other historic items were almost enough to justify a visit by themselves. The service was friendly and speedy. My mushroom/Swiss burger was juicy. My wife's chicken tenders were meaty and well cooked. The fries were crisp outside and tender on the inside without obnoxious seasonings. The Scottish Ale satisfied with each pair of pints. I would have liked just a bit larger portion size.
Our fourth visit was even better than the first. My wife's chicken tenders were as good as ever, and the Fire burger I had the last three times has become my favorite. Portions were worth the money. We have lived in this area for a bit over 4 years, and this is my favorite place to go.
