Listen. I'm delighted to be a first-time home owner, but I'm tempted to say that having Jack Gironda in my rolodex is the best thing to come out of the whole deal. As a home inspector, Jack goes above and beyond. He gets into all of the nooks and crannies, takes loads of pictures, and lets you know exactly what's going on with a property. He's honest and fair -- he'll tell you what's important to address now or return to later, and when he's done you will know you've gotten your money's worth. He's also quite handy himself, and can suggest DIY solutions where appropriate. Last but hardly least, because of Jack's sterling reputation and winning personality (he's a lovely man), he has an excellent network of fair and friendly contacts should you need any work done down the line. I've emailed Jack in a panic over bugs, leaks, and electrical issues, and he's come through for me every single time. Jack is the real deal.
