I will never do business with this company or recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a compassionate and professional company, I highly suggest looking elsewhere.
It’s a miracle that the company hasn’t gone under yet. Which is unfortunate because the billers and support staff are all lovely and deserve much better. I cannot say the same for the management.
I left PMBG in February of 2023. To say it was a nightmare is an understatement. Our Redmond location needed to close its doors. When we reached out to PMBG and explained that "hey, we are severely struggling financially and need to be released from our contract because we have to close our Redmond location" they turned from passive-aggressive to pure-evil. First, they made it clear we were the problem. Second, they pushed out all of our billing to inflate what we would owe (never checked for errors). Third, they (immediately after our meeting announcing we were sadly closing our doors of nearly a decade) held hostage our billing software, credit and patient insurance card information, as well as our ability to track timesheets. Payroll happened to be the next day and we could not run payroll due to them withholding our information. After we realized what happened (re: cutting access off fully to our own patient and billing data) they then laid out the ransom we had to pay to get out of the contract and regain access to our data. They then gave us 10 days to pay it, and threatened to enforce further fines if we did not.
I hope in reading this you also ensure if you go with a billing company you 100% have ownership and hold access yourself of all data you use with the company, have an attorney read your contract for release clauses, and be sure to read the fine print of their fee structures.
