The experience we had with William/Billy (the owner) was appalling. He showed no compassion for the loss of a healthy 26 year old son to sudden cardiac arrest, was dismissive of the questions asked by the parents, didn't seem to be able to hear the answers to his questions, and overall was unprofessional. He seemed to think that name-dropping of ministers he knows and chit chat about them and their wives was appropriate while meeting with a grieving family. His approach was more appropriate to a used car sales room. When he contacted the father two days later, Billy told him "shame on you" for not contacting him immediately with the date and time of the church service for the young man. He disgustedly told the father that they would need to have a long sleeved shirt "since they took bones out of his arms and they'll have to be covered up". The young man had been able to donate several tissues including bones to benefit those still living, which was very commendable. Really, really disgusting to have any family treated that way.
While searching for information about pre-funeral arrangements I was fortunate enough to speak with the owner, Billy Campbell. I had so many questions about the death process, funeral services and cremation. He Gently explained, in exact detail, what I needed to do. More importantly, what I needed to have in place prior to my death . True fact is; I don’t want to be a burden on my family... today or at the time of death. I’m truly grateful for all the expert advice and information that was shared with me. After our meeting, I am feeling informed, Knowledgeable and better prepared to make decisions for me and my family. Once again, thank you!
