I saw an ad for Priority Roofing on Instagram. I was impressed by the appearance of the roofs and curious so I watched some of the videos. I contacted a rep and scheduled an appointment for a consultation.
I was a surprised at how easily the satellite imaging allowed them to give me an estimate. They explained the roofing system, installation process and costs. No pressure.
I don’t know much about roofs. So I reached out to a friend who’s a contractor and gave him a copy of the estimate. He said it was an ideal product at an excellent price. So I signed a contract.
I’ve worked with Teresa on every step of the process. She’s knowledgeable, responsive and enthusiastic. The installation crew arrived when they said they would, installed a beautiful roof and cleaned up.
And a few weeks later a got a surprise premium refund from my home owner’s insurance provider. I would have been very happy with half of the amount I got back.
This might be the first product review I’ve ever written. I’m doing it because I am impressed with the company and Teresa. I can’t think of one unpleasant surprise or disappointment in dealing with them. They said what they would do and did it. This is a company I’d like to do business with again. But since I got a great roof with a lifetime guarantee I don’t expect to hire them for the house I’m in.
Priority Roofing is my favorite contractor -- they installed a very nice metal shake roof on my house (advantages of metal and more, but with a non-metal look).
The sales process was very smooth, clear, and low-pressure. The actual on-site work was completed in 4 days -- exactly the low end of the time estimated beforehand -- and I'm happy with both the result and work. But, the thing that really set Priority apart in my opinion was my customer representative, Teresa (technically "project estimator", but she helped on so much more than that).
My communication experience with contractors has varied between abysmal and acceptable, but Teresa changed that to awesome in this case. She answered all my questions promptly and completely and kept me up to date on status and developments at just the right cadence -- not too much info and not too little. She "got" what was going on and understood what I needed/wanted to know and what wasn't important.
The project ended up being delayed by around 2 months, but Teresa helped navigate this challenge so well (and Priority mitigated the challenge as best they could) that I'm now here leaving a 5-star review despite that delay.
I strongly recommend Priority Roofing for anyone considering reroofing, though that won't be me in this house since the roof comes with a 50-year warranty!
