Thank you for your services. Some constructive criticism that I hope you will listen to for your circumcision type appointments:
Please update your aftercare instructions they are much too vague.
For example:
Add more information on gauze care example (whether or not to leave gauze on for 24 hours.....whether to change gauze after every diaper change or not...what to do if gauze gets stuck after procedure). This would have helped us a lot and then we would not have had to call the after hours line for something so simple when our newborn son's gauze fell off after his procedure. We ended up panicking because his gauze was dried on to him stuck .. but half way falling off weighed down by blood pulling on his you-know-what 4 hours after procedure (sorry for graphic image) causing him pain. If we had proper after care instructions we would have known what to do.
Secondly it was difficult to get ahold of the office and took 2 business days of calling to get ahold of anyone. Thank you however for letting me set a same day appointment quickly once I did get in touch with someone. I was told to stop feeding my son 1 hour prior but not told to bring a blanket or a pacifier which ended up being needed. Again we appreciate your services but wanted to politely suggest some changes that we think would help others.
