This place keeps trying to kill my family members, I swear... They've succeeded twice. My grandfather and my dad... My mom was just in the ER last week... Took them two days to figure out that you shouldn't send a bleeding patient with colorectal issues home because they are "fine", took them another day to get her bed. Took them another 3 days to FEED her and finally a call had to be made to patient care and administration to get the docs to actually do proper tests and talk to her about her condition. They ended up sending her home and said they'd call next day with test results and care plan. That was 3 days ago... No word.
Absolutely garbage care...
According to my mom, nurses were kind, but it took 3 days to get a clean sheet...
Do not go here!

My elderly Dad came in on a Tuesday evening for severe abdominal pain. Based on ultrasound it looked like gallbladder, but there was abnormality the wanted to look at further. Dr ordered an MRI with contrast to look at mass on gallbladder. We were under the impression it would be that night, come Wednesday morning nothing had happened and he was in a lot of pain still, they were finally able to get his pain under control and were going to do the MRI that afternoon. It was pushed out again and was scheduled for 8pm Wednesday night. I talked to him and the nurse around 7pm and they were prepping him and told me they wouldn’t have results until the AM. At 5 am Thursday my Stepmother called me and said he never got the MRI but they were taking him in shortly. I called again around 10 to see what they found and he still had not been in. Finally around 11 they did his MRI, it took roughly 2 hours and they confirmed there was a mass on his gallbladder and wanted another look so they needed to do a second MRI. The second MRI happened relatively quickly and he was back in his room around 4pm, we were told the doctor would come up shortly to share the results and explain the plan. The doctor never came and the nurse just said she believed he was to have surgery in the morning but didn’t have much more information. I am out of state and my dad has early onset Alzheimer’s so he is not great at relaying or comprehending information. They never called me or my stepmother as they said they would to update us, only communicated with him, who was sedated most the time and not able to comprehend or relay the info. I called multiple times and had to wait on hold just to get an operator and half the time trying to reach the nurse it was either shift change, lunch or they would call me back, but never called me back once. His surgery finally happened, but they took him to the OR at 11:30 am and we were told it would take 2 hours. At 2pm they had not actually got him in, he finally went in around 2:30 and the surgery ended up taking over 4 hours with no communication as to what was happening. Overall a terrible experience for him and very poor communication for the family and incredibly difficult to get a hold of a nurse.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was there admitted from August 1 to August 8 for upper stomach pain. The doctors were more focused on me being on chronic pain meds that I take for my knee since I had knee replacement. They felt that’s why I had pain didn’t want to believe any tests I already had done that shows a potential problem for my pain and kept trying to take me off my pain medication. They wanted to put me on Suboxone or methadone instead. I feel like I was stereotyped to be made out as if I was an addict yet I have been stable on my pain medication for over a year and a half I have a pain contract with my primary and have never once. needed more medication than I take or have ever gone through withdrawals. Gastroenterologist kept dragging his feet. I was told he was going to stop to see me and every day never came but always made time to document in my chart. I was told I needed an endoscopy, but they were too busy to do one. I had to wait until the day. I was discharged to get done but yet surprisingly I got one early that day because they had a lot of people cancel. G.I. never even came to discuss my endoscopy results and now I have to go to Virginia Mason to get another test done that could’ve just been done to begin with but they never wanted to send me there. They should’ve done that last week not only has my physical health been neglected, but my mental and emotional health were as well, feel like this hospital kept me prisoner for eight days unnecessarily. Never go here or send your family here. I did have some great nurses and some great CNA’s but then I also had some terrible nurses especially one who I had to call the charge nurse on because of how she treated me. Never in my life did I every think I would have to fight in a place where I should feel safe to rest and heal. Don’t go here or send your family unless you want to constantly be in fight or flight mode.
