If you or someone you love is truly having a medical emergency, I would highly recommend going somewhere else!
The staff here is disrespectful and treats everyone who walks through the door like they are a homeless addict.
Physicians also see patients in the middle of the waiting room with absolutely no privacy when they are “too full.”
There are signs up all over the ER saying to not bother the nurses and that their staff is trained to tell whether or not you are actually having an emergency.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place should be shut down by the state. Or is state funding the problem?!
I came with my parents to wait for my sister to get out of surgery, and was barred from the waiting room by a blonde woman at reception. She made a personal assessment that my service dogs tasks don't qualify for admittance. To be clear my dog, among other things, trained to prevent emotional overload, interrupt panic attacks, and provide deep pressure therapy when needed. While my disability may not be readily apparent, I'm very upset that a receptionist is apparently considered qualified to make such determinations as what tasks qualify for service animal admittance.
