This hospital is garbage! Thankfully I live near Tacoma. I was in St Mary's hospital in 2022. Had no clue what was wrong. But I had a fever of 106.3. the nurse thought that the thermometer was wrong so she got another one. She thought maybe it's battery was dead so she got another one. She put it in my mouth for all of about 2 seconds before she took it out and said that my temperature was barely above 100. I was sent home with them saying that I had a kidney infection, they said nothing about having sepsis. I returned home back to Tacoma the following day and thinking that everything was okay. It was just a kidney infection. The medicine needed time to work. I was waiting it out and eight days later I go back to the hospital and my sedimentation rate was still at 51 and I still had an infection. The doctor here changed my medication and also sent me home. I have seen someone go through sepsis before. It's not pretty. It's not comfortable and then watching the previous person have sepsis in the way that I had sepsis. They were hospitalized for 19 days in Tacoma. Walla Walla just sent me home and was like fend for yourself. I could have died.
And now I have a sibling who is so unbelievably swollen that she can't put her hair in a ponytail because raising her arms up to do so chokes her and they tell her that it's likely caused because she is obese. Walla Wall needs real medical professionals not these got my license out of a cracker jack box yahoos.
I have a son-in-law who was stabbed who was at St. Mary's hospital who they waited three and a half hours before trying to transfer to Tri-Cities and the autopsy showed that his wound was fixable if he received help sooner and he's dead now and he was unfortunately an illegal immigrant whose family has absolutely no ground to stand on without jeopardizing being deported.
