Providence St Peter Outpatient Pediatric Therapies

My son has been seeing a occupational therapist here for a few months. She's been absolutely amazing! He's progressing so much with her help and knowledge. Any questions I have she answers and if she doesn't know the answer she directs me to the right resources to find those answers. Everyone is kind and respectful. I look forward to taking my son there every week. Thank you all for your help.

The physical therapists here are awesome. Many here have earned their doctorate in PT which indicates to me that they have dedicated their lives to helping others heal as best they can. I trust my therapist and I've only known her a short time. The front desk does get extremely busy as this is a highly specialized practice. It can be difficult to reach someone when calling but I've always been able to get through.

Do not take your babies here! This establishment, if you can call it that, is absurdly unprofessional and do not really care about what benefits children. While I was away due to cancer and stem cell transplant, my husband missed two appointments. We explained the situation, apologized profusely, and took the punishment of not being able to set up appointments more than a week in advance. However, that lead to never getting service but once a month due to filled schedules. We were denied service (outrageous in my opinion) and told by the SLP that she will not work with our autistic 3 year old daughter until she receives ABA therapy. After jumping through more hoops and getting our daughter into ABA, they deny the request for her ABA therapist to attend an OT session for observational purposes. We were also told to correct the denial of speech services, their SLP and OT provider would co-treat at the same time to at least provide our girl with something. Never happened! Today, we showed up for our last OT session since school is back in session and she has these services provided for her again. They canceled the appointment and never told us prior!!! We wasted an hour round trip for nothing and had to endure a huge meltdown from our sweet girl all because she was expecting to see her OT provider and she couldn’t. Appalling! I will never return here. When summer hits again, I’ll find another provider and a better establishment to serve my daughter.
