Jumel is great, patient, funny, and knowledgeable!! I got the Self Care 101 treatment, which is the standard facial. Other facials I've had in the past were a bit more painful and left my skin rather irritated afterwards, but Jumel worked some sort of magic where my skin looked radiant!
She will also offer advice and product recommendations if you need, which I found very helpful. Since my facial with her, I've introduced double cleansing into my routine, removed salicylic acid from my cleanser and serum, and so far I've had just 1-2 pimples - totally manageable. I was afraid to give up using salicylic acid for fear of breakouts, but it's been making my skin rather dry. Likely that's why my forehead is still so oily, as it's overproducing sebum to combat the dryness.
I'm eager to return to Jumel to get another facial and check in with her to see how my skin is doing. Highly recommend for your first time or even 40th time, and her prices are more affordable than other shops.
